Tamlong-20 Tablets contain Tamoxifen Citrate, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) widely used in the treatment and prevention of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer. It works by blocking the effects of estrogen on breast tissue, thereby slowing or stopping the growth of hormone-dependent cancer cells.

Uses / Indications

Tamlong-20 is indicated for:

• Estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer (early & advanced stages)

• Adjuvant therapy after breast cancer surgery

• Prevention of breast cancer in high-risk women

• Treatment of metastatic breast cancer

• Infertility related to ovulation disorders (off-label, as prescribed)

Mechanism of Action

Tamoxifen acts by competitively binding to estrogen receptors in breast tissue.
