Vymada 50 mg Sacubitril / Valsartan Tablets – 28 Tablets (2×14)

Vymada 50 mg Tablets contain a fixed-dose combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan, used primarily in the management of chronic heart failure. This medicine works by enhancing protective neurohormonal systems while simultaneously blocking harmful effects of the renin-angiotensin system, helping improve heart function and reduce hospitalization risk in heart failure patients.

Uses / Indications

• Chronic heart failure (reduced ejection fraction)

• To lower the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization due to heart failure

Mechanism of Action

• Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin, increasing levels of beneficial peptides that cause vasodilation and sodium excretion

• Valsartan blocks angiotensin II receptors, reducing blood pressure and strain on the heart
  Together, they improve cardiac efficiency and reduce disease progression.

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage as prescribed by a physician

• Usually taken once or twice daily

• Can be taken with or without food

Possible Side Effects

• Low blood pressure (hypotension)

• Dizziness

• Increased potassium levels

• Kidney function changes

• Cough

Precautions & Warnings

• Not recommended during pregnancy

• Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment

• Avoid combining with ACE inhibitors without proper washout period
