Description
Norsunate 100 (Artesunate 100 mg) is an antimalarial medication used for the treatment of malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum and other malaria parasites. Artesunate belongs to the artemisinin group of medicines and works by producing free radicals that damage the parasite’s proteins, leading to its death. It provides rapid symptom relief and is especially effective in treating mild to moderate malaria infections.
Artesunate acts quickly to reduce the number of malaria parasites in the bloodstream and is often used in combination with other antimalarial drugs as part of Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy (ACT) to prevent drug resistance and recurrence. Always use this medicine under the supervision of a qualified healthcare provider.
