Exemptia 40 mg Injection contains Adalimumab, a recombinant human monoclonal antibody that inhibits tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α). It is used in the treatment of various autoimmune and inflammatory disorders by reducing inflammation, preventing joint damage, and improving physical function.

Uses / Indications

Exemptia is indicated for the treatment of:

• Rheumatoid Arthritis

• Ankylosing Spondylitis

• Psoriatic Arthritis

• Plaque Psoriasis

• Crohn’s Disease

• Ulcerative Colitis

• Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

Mechanism of Action

Adalimumab selectively binds to TNF-α, a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in autoimmune inflammation. By neutralizing TNF-α:

• Inflammatory responses are reduced

• Immune-mediated tissue damage is prevented

• Symptoms such as pain, swelling, and stiffness improve

Dosage & Administration

• Typical Dose: 40 mg every alternate week

• Administered via subcutaneous injection
